Kristy Arnett was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan. A girl who from the beginning of her childhood, has practiced various sports and boasted by a wardrobe full of pants and baggy t-shirts and sports. After graduating from high school Kristy went to the University of Fort Wayne with a scholarship and majored in communications with a minor in journalism.

 

During college, she discovered a passion for poker and also for writing, which eventually developed into a dream career working in the poker industry. After her last football season, Kristy took a leap of faith and went to Las Vegas to finish school hoping to find a job.

 

Through the masterful use of social networks, Kristy won an intership on the Card Player magazine, which quickly became a full-time job as writer and presenter, three years later landed a job as a Hostess on PokerNews.

 

Nonetheless Kristy continues to play live poker tournaments, some of which already totals $ 11.316 gains with her philosophy simple yet poetic, the "Shut up and play.".
