888 will launch online poker in Nevada this summer!

Online poker in Nevada will happen still this summer!

The CEO of 888 Holdings, Brian Mattingley said in a statement to Reuters that he hopes to be able to launch online poker in Nevada later this summer with the 888! The 888 has partnered with three companies, including Caesars Interactive, WMS Industries and Treasure Island, being currently in the testing phase of the 3 sites and still miss the approval of the software by the Control Committee of the Nevada game.

The Control Committee Nevada approved gaming licenses to 20 companies, but hey haven´t approved any software yet, but the truth is that by the end of the year all of the companies that applied for a license will be operating. The State of Nevada also want to share their players with other U.S. states including New Jersey which should also plans to have online gambling running by the end of the year, and it is also known that both these states, Nevada and New Jersey have intentions to share their players with European regulated market still in development too.

It has even been made a forecast by the analyst at Morgan Stanley, Thomas Allen that the online market in the United States will have revenues of $ 670 million in 2014 and and will rise up to 9000 million in 2020 with the adherence of other states to online gambling!

This is great news for online poker players, therrfore the return of the united states to online poker will cause an avalanche of new players, and where even today it is not allowed to play tomorrow it will be! Since the "black friday" online poker traffic dropped 38% much this caused by the loss of American players, the return of the same market will completely change the landscape of online poker.

There is also another feature, as you may know PokerStars currently holds 40% of world traffic but with the reopening of the U.S. market it will also change because PokerStars is not seen with good eyes in the U.S. and will hardly get a license there in the early days that will cause a large fluctuation and migration in the online poker networks and a completely change the landscape of online poker!
